Halal Down There!
Watch out, folks! A new food truck has hit the streets of campus.
New York Gyro Lunch made its debut last week on Spruce Street between 36th and 37th Streets, giving Upper and Lower Quadders a reason to settle their differences and meet in the middle. (And finally unite against Hill in an epic battle to the finish! Blood! Glory! AIR CONDITIONING!)
The truck offers a great selection of halal rice platters, salad platters and gyros. And get this: everything on the menu comes with a free drink!
The service is fast, the line is short, the prices are reasonable, and it’s open Monday through Friday from 10-5 (Saturdays from 11-5). But no pressure. Not trying to sell it to you just because the owner’s from my hometown or anything.
