Nobody Puts Amy In A Corner
Unless it’s The New York Times. This week’s Corner Office feature in the Business Day section showcases the University of Pennsylvania’s President Amy Gutmann. Wait a second… She sounds familiar. Didn’t we see her somewhere before?
Oh yeah, when The Washington Post did the same type of leadership feature thing two weeks ago. Keep up.
In the NYT fluff piece interview, Amy expresses that her leadership style embraces the importance of transcending conformity, emphasizing collaboration and communication, and making farsighted decisions. Time management. Risks. Passion. Synergy.

i remember when UTB used to be funny/interesting.
I feel ya. I remember when the NYT used to be interesting.
Actually, NYT is still pretty interesting.
Actually, UTB is still pretty interesting.
Personally, I find huntsman countdowns and bachelorette updates the HIGHLIGHT of my summer. I like having 4-5 UTB updates a day a lot!!!!!
you tell em, sanj
The interview is actually pretty good-and was much better than this post makes it out to be. UTB of my sophomore year would have snarked on the fact that Amy’s was a mathlete and her “wild idea of the week”. Oh Am, I bet you do have a wild idea of the week.
Amy’s go-to interview question is “What’s your greatest weakness?” Wow. You’re right. She’s riveting.
