Penn Baseball Hits Another Home Run
Rising College senior Vince Voiro was drafted by the San Diego Padres today in the 47th round of the MLB Draft, making him the second Penn baseball player to make the big leagues in two days after Paul Cusick was drafted by the Phillies yesterday. Congrats, guys! You have single- (or double-) handedly revived the Ivy League’s legitimacy as a sports conference.
Now that Voiro’s dream has come true, he faces the difficult decision of finishing out his senior year or launching his professional career and hitting the ground running. We just have one thing to say: Feb Club?
Update: Here is the Buzz article on our draft popularity, complete with sports words and facts.

not to get technical, but neither of them has “made the big leagues.” theyve just been drafted
“You have single- (or double-) handedly revived the Ivy League’s legitimacy as a sports conference.”
Do you know anything about the Ivy League as a sports conference?
Both of them have about a .00001 shot of making the majors. They will maybe be able to subsist temporarily on a meager minor league salary, before moving on to other careers. Way to drastically mislead your readers.
