Wharton Alum Making His Mark On India
Kunal Bahl, a Wharton Alum, is making his mark on a town in Northern India. According to an article from CNN, Bahl donated profits from his Groupon-esque company, Snapdeal.com, towards water pumps for Shiv Nagar, a poor Indian village. The villagers thanked Bahl’s company by renaming the town SnapDeal.com Nagar (nagar meaning “town”).
