Post-Semester Listserv Oopsies
What’s that smell? It isn’t from fresh cookies out of the oven, but rather fresh grades posted to Penn InTouch! Well when one Penngineer checked his grade, he was very disappointed by what he saw. To find out where everything went wrong, he emailed not just his professor, but the entire class. Whoops!
This kid probably wishes it ended there. Instead, the exchange between him and the professor continued as everyone else watched.
Only after the professor responded and the student continued begging got more desperate did he realize that the entire class had seen the conversation… and all of his grade grubbing.
When our friend reached out to his classmates one last time, we’re pretty sure he was crossing his fingers that no one would do anything crazy with this, like send it our way!

UTB should take this down. These are private e-mails that were mistakenly sent to the entire class. It was a dumb mistake but a mistake nonetheless. UTB should be ashamed of itself for making these public. I can’t imagine how the student is feeling.
I agree with Anon, that’s a mortifying mistake to make and this is exactly the kind of immature response that makes it such. We’re not in high school anymore. It wasn’t even funny in and of itself.
Why don’t you let us know how you feel?
Why would UTB take this down? This is hilarious. Some idiot set himself up. And its not like his name is attached so why do you care?
Nah Keep it up its funny.
The professor should give the kid a B, and then resign from Penn.
Let’s be real, so many of us have sent this type of email to a professor before… so I think it’s hilarious. If the student who wrote it were to feel uncomfortable about it, however, I think a happy compromise would be for UTB to rewrite the article stating that a student in a Penn class did this without explicitly providing details or the email exchange itself.
My penis gets hard looking at this shit! lolz!
