Philly Museums: Coolest Cats In Town
Didja hear? According to culture mag Complex, two Philly art institutions have been ranked in the top 50 coolest museums in the world. (!) Yup, campus purveyor of all things rad, the Institute of Contemporary Art (check out their newly redesigned website), and international hotspot, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, were ranked as 48th and 40th coolest in the world. The Mütter Museum, that storehouse for bizarre medical anomalies, came in at number 13! Impressive.
Since both are within walking distance to our lovely campus, why not take a few hours out of this week’s schedule and check them out? The ICA’s First Among Equals and the PMA’s Van Gogh: Up Close are neat beyond belief.
