Keystone State of Mind: Jay-Z To Curate Philly Festival During NSO
At a press conference on the Art Museum steps this morning, Jay-Z, appearing with Mayor Nutter, confirmed his participation with Budweiser’s Made In America music festival, which will take place during NSO on the first and second of September. As Philly.com notes, there’s no lineup yet, but Jay-Z should have no problem booking Kelly Clarkson. (Jay-Z, book Kelly Clarkson. Or Beyoncé. Please.)
Watch him above as he celebrates the great “silly of Philadelphia,” and charity United Way, a beneficiary of the upcoming fest. Although the Times specifies that it will take place in Fairmount Park, Nutter mentions the Parkway in his speech. Great choices, both! Tickets will on sale starting on the 23rd of this month, with two-day passes available for $99.
