Kal Penn: Coming To An Irvine Near You
Brought to you by the South Asia Society, IAA and SPEC, Kal Penn, long-lost descendant of state founder William Penn and brother-in-law-twice-removed of actor Sean Penn, will be gracing our-school-Penn (unrelated) with his presence on Sunday, November 4th at 7PM.
Best known for his roles in Harold and Kumar and House (but among your female hallmates, How I Met Your Mother), the actor-turned-White-House-associate-turned-back-to-actor is returning to Penn (where he once taught a semester and received an “eh” on his Penn Course Review) for Asian Pacific American Heritage Week.
Tickets (8 bucks a pop with your PennCard) go on sale at the Button tomorrow at 4PM, but feel free to click here for further updates. And to join another listserv.

The Asian Pacific American Heritage Week is a Co-sponsor of the event.
Also, in addition to being an actor-turned-White-House-associate-turned-back-to-actor, he’s recently turned back to become Obama’s campaign co-chair
APAHW will be selling the first 200 tickets on a first come first serve basis on Thursday, October 25th, at 4pm BY THE BUTTON (not under it, sadly). Bring your Penncard and $8
