New CIO In The Building

Penn’s got a new IT guy. The University announced this morning that Thomas Murphy has been appointed as chief information officer and vice president for information technology.

Murphy is a 2010 inductee of the CIO Hall of Fame. Yes, that exists.  And no, steroids have not been a problem.

Among Murphy’s list of credentials is a stint at Royal Caribbean Cruises.  Ooh, luxurious.  But we promise, Philly is fun too!
