The College of Arts and Crafts Sciences is having a fair, and its happening now, on College Green. Academic departments will be giving away free food, including ice cream made from liquid nitrogen (cool, Chemistry) and cheesesteaks (what up, Urban Studiez). If you’re not dieting in preparation for fried Oreos at Fling, perhaps it’s worth a trip. A number of prominent professor types will also be giving 60 second lectures. The fiesta rages until 3 p.m.

College freshman Robbie Berg faces off tonight on Jeopardy! College Championship, on which he’ll be wearing, of course, a Penn hoodie. Berg faces off against students from other colleges, including Columbia student and Ivy Gate editor Dan D’Addario. (Don’t let us down, Robbie!) We’ll be tuned in to ABC at 7 p.m. tonight.

Being a second semester senior is a confusing time. We want to kick back and enjoy our last semester at Penn, but there’s still all this stuff looming above our heads. Stuff like classes, extracurriculars, our inevitable entry into the real world. And to top it off, it doesn’t help that Penn makes it sound like everyone else has it together besides us.
But despite how stress-inducing Penn can be, for one month over the course of your four year stay it likes to say, “Hey. Take a load off. Get drunk.” That month is almost here. Feb Club officially kicks off next Monday at Smokes. (A full calendar of events can be found here). And as per an extensive email from Senior Class prez Arthur Gardner Smith, there’s a bit of preparation needed if you want to participate. Read the deets after the jump.
We love college, but we hate school. That is, we love Smoke’s and Fling and the Quad and living as quasi-adults sans any real responsibility, but we hate exams and term papers and idiot TAs and sleep-deprivation. Summer is the time when we relish in the lack of schoolwork (though some of us are getting a taste of that whole 9-5 thing…which is another story), but miss that late night trip to FroGro after Kweder. Fear not! There are not one but two ways you can get your college-not-school fix during these long summer months.
We are saddened to report that today’s issue of Street (the joke issue!) is the last one of the semester. But luckily it’s a good one! Contrary to what some people with poor reading comprehension skills think, Street is not a joke every week — it is funny, yes, but our interviews, reviews, and features are all REAL. Except for this week. Ahem. So now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, feast your eyes on Street U., our state school alter ego.
