Ever wanted to smell like Michelle Obama? Well now you can, sort of. Wharton alum Seth Kornegay created a luxury perfume line named “Orla” with our one and only FLOTUS as his inspiration.
Kornegay claims he has the ability to simply look at a person and develop a scent based on his or her personality, an attribute he clearly gained through Wharton’s core education. For First Lady Michelle Obama, Kornegay specifically thought of her strength, grace and courage when creating this line.
Here’s our two “scents:” the line is classy and only uses natural ingredients, so we smell a winner. Want to read more about Seth Kornegay and his perfume lines? Read the recent Philly.com article.
In honor of all things Hillary, we bring you this gem from 1993, featuring Madame la Secretary of State, Mrs. Clinton herself! Clinton’s looking extra chic here as she chats it up with her old pal. There’s a “Watch out, Hillary, you’re sitting in days-old urine!” joke we’re politely sidestepping here. (You’re welcome.) What a champ! Maybe the new FLOTUS and SLOTUS will spend some quality time with Franklin later today?
Remember how Michelle Obama’s going to speak at a rally on Perelman Quad tonight? Well, the FLOTUS’ speechin’ spot is almost ready for showtime, so you can start planning where to stand now. It looks like the prime spaces will be in the very middle of Houston Hall, and we don’t think you’ll be able to bust out the back door of College Hall, so we (along with everyone else in the world) recommend that you try to get there as early as you can.
