If you live on the 4000 or 4100 block of Spruce, you’ve seen the telltale Haddad’s trailer trucks and your house may have had a memo on it asking you not park on the street this week. That’s because an ABC drama pilot is filming on the western end of campus, where many upperclassmen dwell.
And it’s not just any series handling our hood. A bit of investigative journalism has shown that Touchstone’s “How to Get Away,” as listed on the flyers, is in fact the Philly-set “How to Get Away with Murder,” the latest from “Scandal” and “Grey’s Anatomy” HBIC Shonda Rhimes.
Oh yeah, and IT STARS VIOLA DAVIS, Oscar-nominated star of “The Help,” whose character just may be the next Olivia Pope. But perhaps more kind, smart and important.

It’s the home stretch before Spring Break, everybody! So there’s probably a good chance you’re trapped under a pile of books and swimming in papers until you can shed the North Faces and sun those nips in the beautiful vacation destination of your choice. Why: As commander of the UN’s peacekeeping forces during the genocide in Rwanda, Dallaire’s got a lot to say about his experiences. Check out his talk on the prevention of mass atrocities today on campus! How neat is that?
