Pissing For The Penn Fund

A friendly tipster e-mailed us the other day with a note about the male restrooms in Rosengarten.  Most Street editors are female, so it was news to us that Penn's fundraising efforts even extend to sponsoring individual urinals.  Yep, some of the urinals have plaques above them--one reads "The relief you are now experiencing is made possible by a gift from Michael Zinman."

So who is Michael Zinman and why does he care enough about your bodily functions to sponsor some library urinals?  We Googled him, and found several references to him as a "New York omnivore" and a "very canny collector."  Is this his LinkedIn page?  V.P. at Goldman Sachs sounds like the kind of position a Penn alum would be in, and it would definitely afford him abundant urinal sponsorship funds.  Zinman also has a rare books collection named after him.  Well lah-di-dah, Michael Zinman!  Please look into sponsoring a new tampon/sanitary napkin machine for the ladies' room next--gender equity or bust!
