Whose Ivy?

In the buildup to early decision admissions (just two days until scores of precocious youngsters receive their acceptions and rejections), we thought we'd share this pretty yet seemingly pointless website that Penn's admissions office created in an apparent ploy to draw applicants. Meet yourivy.org.

The site is little more than a bunch of videos of Penn people (Amy Guttmann! Eric Furda! Students who wanted to be astrophysicists before deciding they were too "artsy"!) gushing on just how super great Penn is. Haven't we seen this before? We agree though, Penn rules!

We are alarmed, however, by the site's name. Your Ivy? Are we giving ourselves away that easily? Penn, we didn't think you were such a floozy!
