Hoops And Shoes For Haiti
January 25, 2010 at 3:03 pm
In another Penn for Haiti effort, both the men's and women's basketball teams are hosting Hoops for Haiti tonight at the Palestra. Initiated by stud-turned-coach Jermone Allen in the wake of the tragedy, the Hoops for Haiti drive is encouraging fans to bring old shoes to tonight's game against St. Joseph's. Not only is it Penn's last chance to put an end to its 12-game Big 5 losing streak, but it's also for a great cause.
One thing's for sure; the Haitian that gets some of Denzel's old kicks is gonna be one lucky dude.
