Clark Park Closed!

Now we (kinda) know how those poor NYU kids felt when Washington Square was roped off. A tipster has informed us that the northern portion of Clark Park (between Baltimore and Chester avenues at 43rd Street) has been closed. Apparently, they've even gone so far as to throw up a fence around the perimeter. In the long term, though, this is actually a good thing - it's all a part of some ongoing plans to renovate "Park A" to include such luxuries as bigger green spaces and broadened sidewalks for a roomier farmers market.
