Fall Fest Gives Us Toonage

Update: Got a band? SPEC is accepting submissions to participate in the Battle of the Bands (they want up to three songs, either emailed to battle@specevents.net or on a CD delivered to the Office of Student Affairs) until Sept. 18 at 6 p.m. The selected bands will be announced right here on UTB on Sept. 20!
According to an article in The DP, the theme for the second annual Fall Fest has been released. Prepare yourselves for a 90's flashback because it's all about Nickelodeon. There are promises of slime, Nick Toons, and an additional "DJ Battle" to give Battle of the Bands a run for its money. We're not quite sure how this relates to Nick but we'll take it. And if Double Dare 2000-themed activities and lots of Keenan and Kel-esque orange soda isn't enough, the headlining performer is Penn's own Hoodie Allen. Get ready to don your scrunchies because the event goes down on September 25th and someone is gonna get slimed.
