There's A Reason No One's Too Worried About That Terror Alert

Remember that advisory that went out to everyone studying abroad, warning them about possible terrorist attacks? Turns out it was pretty poorly worded. Like, poorly worded to the point of being borderline nonsensical. Here's a choice excerpt from the message:
Patrick Kennedy, Undersecretary for Management in the US State Department specifically stated, “we’re not recommending, that American citizens of any kind – business, tourism, study abroad – we are not – we are not, not, not saying that they should defer travel to Europe at this time, absolutely not.”
How many double negatives is that? Does this cancel itself out? To sum up: there's a terror alert out, but no one should not not not not not travel to Europe because of it. Take from this what you will.
