Excuse our punny headline, but we were just so impressed that the 2013 Class Board is putting on something legitimately cool. Free dinners! At Stephen Starr restaurants! And a meet and greet! With Stephen Starr! Well done, folks. See? We don't hate you all the time.
Any sophomores interested in signing up for a dinner at one of eight Starr restaurants can enter the lottery here, or read the full details of the two events after the jump.
Part 1: EXPERIENCE STARR
What: Class Board 2013 is raffling off 160 FREE dinners to Starr restaurants. Each night, we'll send 2 groups of 20 sophomores to enjoy the full Starr experience. Dinners include a full meal of the best appetizers, entrees, and desserts. All for FREE and exclusively for 2013.When: Next week, February 20th - 24th, 6 PM each nightWhere:Monday: Continental Mid-Town and JonesTuesday: Pizzeria Stella and The Continental Wednesday: El Rey and Alma de CubaThursday: Buddakan and MorimotoWhy: There are so many incredible people in 2013; we want to give you an excuse to meet as many of them as possible before graduation. He'll open up about his life, his restaurants, and his story. Plus 300 students will get to enjoy an assortment of Starr's delicious dessert tapas, coffee, and tea. Again, FREE and only for 2013.When: Friday, February 25th at 6 PMWhy: Learn from the visionary, the man who turned Philadelphia into a restaurant town. What inspired him to enter such a tough industry? What does it take to transform an idea into a restaurant? He might even share a sneak peek into his next big project.
