Friends, artists, digital media design majors, lend us your ears—and talents! Do you, like former Nickelodeon superstar Taina Morales, have dreams of seeing your name in lights? What about your art? With the help of your friendly neighborhood energy company, that dream may become reality (provided you pay your electric bill on time).
PECO has partnered with Breadboard to sponsor "Art in the Air," an initiative to recognize the talent of local digital artists. Every month through December, the digital submissions of three to five artists are selected for exhibit on the PECO Building's Crown Lights display, the scrolling banner atop that building at 23rd and Market. Yeah, that one! In the picture! The tall one on the left! Your art! There! For all the city to see.
There are two chances left to submit. Any artists out there willing to do some pro bono creative work for us? Someone, anyone, please, help us get a scrolling image of Amy Gutmann's glimmering face up there.
