Would You Put This On Your Résumé?

Fall Break is over, which means the onset of preemptive end-of-semester-what-the-eff-am-I-doing-with-my-life panic is officially here! Solution? More extracurriculars, obviously. We've compiled a list of the top ten most unique, interesting and out-there clubs we think have the potential to be really neat experiences (seriously!).*
In order of arbitrary coolness:
- 1. Penn Chess Tutoring Club--Not the Chess Club: the Chess Tutoring Club. Teach the wee ones how to (check)mate!
- 2. Penn Illusionist--"Want to come back to my place and see a card trick?" Works every time.
- 3. The Penn Bowling Club--For pro-bowlers and sexy bowling distractions alike.
- 4. Penn Shooting Club--We all have our ways of de-stressing after a long day of classes. Why not do it by exercising your Second Amendment rights?
- 5. Penn Scrabble Club–Because Words With Friends is like, way too mainstream.
- 6. Harrison Anime Club--This is for you, that one guy who want to be super specific but also not that exclusive. We love cartoons.
- 7. Pennsylvania Undergrad Longboarders (PUL)--Members of PUL take weekly longboarding trips to Philly's historic landmarks. Ben Franklin would be so proud!
- 8. Bagpipe Band--Two words: free ballin'.
- 9. Theorizing Psychedelics-An Interdisciplinary Reading Group--Eligibility Requirements: an open mind and (what's left of) your memories of Coachella/Lolla/Bonnaroo.
- 10. West Philly Swingers--It's not what it sounds like, but imagine all the things you can tell people. They'll never know. We promise.
*The list may be serious, but the captions are just for giggles.
