Let's not dwell too much on the obvious: Spring Break is over and classes are back in swing. Both of those do suck, don't they? But you'll tough it out, chap! Think about all the fun you'll have going through the new Facebook albums of that kid whose notes you borrowed in intro psych who went to Puerto san Playa Rico! And 32 days until Fling? Not too bad. Anyway, let's talk about what's happening:

Lunch Chat With Roger Simon Who: Kelly Writers House When and where: Wednesday, 12 p.m.; Kelly Writers House Why: Roger Simon is the Chief Political Columnist of Politico, a Times best-selling author and the recipient of so many journalism awards we don't have enough space to list them. Check him out at the Kelly Writers House this week for an engaging discussion over grub!
Bloomers Presents: A Chuckle In Time Who: Bloomers When and where: Thursday-Saturday, 8 p.m.; Class of '49 Auditorium (Houston Hall) Why: They tell jokes, don't they?
Art After 5: Cyro Baptista Who: The Philadelphia Museum of Art When and where: Friday, 5-8:30 p.m.; The PMA Why: The PMA's ongoing Art After 5 series continues with Brazilian-born percussionist Cyro Baptista, who will smangin' the cymbals (People say that, right?) all night in the Great Stair Hall in the Museum. Music and art? Can't beat that.
Penn Masala Presents: The Tonight Show Who: Penn Masala When and where: Saturday, 7-10 p.m.; Irvine Auditorium Why: Penn Masala is the world's first/only/premier/etc. South Asian a cappella group, and if you're one the .0001% of campus who hasn't gone to one of their shows yet, head over to Irvine this Friday! And who knows? Maybe Obama will swing by Philly for the night to see them. Tickets are $10 at the door and $8 on the Walk.
