Note to Class of 2017: Even though early decision is a good 3+ months away, you no longer have to feel guilty about reading this blog. But before you get moving on the college process, you might want to stop and think about whether you're movable, immovable, or a mover. Confused? So are we.
As the DP reports, the latest admissions cycle will require Quaker hopefuls to write 300-500 words reflecting on a quote by Ben Franklin (ya know, the guy who founded our school) about "moving."
With use of copy-paste at an all-time high, the burden of an additional essay is sure to thwart attempts of ctrl+F aficionados who replaced every "Princeton" with "Penn."
But don't fear! All the extra work might cause some high school seniors to not apply at all, increasing your chances of getting in. Page 217 who?
