Penn Freshman Canadian Idol Winner

We have an idol amongst us. And no, we're not talking about RoCo or interior queen. The fact is, this 26-year-old newcomer is quite the opposite of the typical freshman. Penn welcomes 2004 Canadian Idol star and winner Kalan Porter to the Wharton School, as reported by the DP. After years of touring, doing concerts, and being famuz, he decided to settle down at Penn to focus on the business aspect of his music.

At this point, we're all thinking the same thing: join SPEC, KaPo! Avril, Celine, and Carly Rae may finally be within our grasp for Fling (you too, obvs). Also, heed our advice and take the necessary precaution against your feisty quadrangle counterparts.
