Another One (Temporarily) Bites The Dust

Quakers, we are saddened to announce the temporary closing of yet another Penn favorite come this July: Lolita, a BYO located on 13th Street, in the heart of Midtown Village.

But before you stock up on more Kleenex, consider this silver lining - not only is the restaurant closing for just two months to renovate its space and reinvent its menu, but also in the weeks leading up to its remodeling, there will be special deals on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays.

Alas, maybe a lil Buy One, Get One Margarita Mixers (for which Lolita is known), Barbecue Night, or Taco Tuesdays can cure your aching heart.

BUT we do regret to inform you that post-renovation, Lolita will no longer be a BYO, as it plans to acquire a liquor license and add a 12-person bar. So un-Philly of them. And for that, we grant all of you permission to mourn this loss accordingly.
