Pengineers Build Mechanical Arm
June 8, 2013 at 10:05 am
Four Pengineers built something pretty cool for their senior design project that once again makes the rest of us feel like underachievers. The device is a motorized arm named "Titan Arm" and it can be used to help people who are completing physical therapy after an arm injury or stroke. It can also just make you want to ditch your shake weight and give yourself a little extra upper body strength.
(Former) seniors Elizabeth Beattie, Nicholas McGill, Nicholas Parrotta, and Nikolay Vladimirov have already received praise from beyond the Penn bubble and recently won first place in the Cornell Cup USA! Be sure to check out a recent article that Philly.com did on the group here.
