People Who (Kind Of?) Went To Penn: Dom Streater

We know that campus is full of aspiring fashionistas willing to wake up early and follow fashion photographers around in hopes of Teen Vogue glory, so we can only imagine your surprise when you arrived at Penn, only to learn that Heidi Klum was right--and Philly's fashion scene was definitely out.

However, Project Runway's most recent winner and Philadelphia native, Dom Streater, hopes to improve the 215's style sensibility.

Streater, who graduated from Moore College of Art & Design and worked at PennVet before getting her big break on the reality competition, plans on reppin' her hometown by developing her line out of Northern Liberties or Queen Village.

Streater follows in the footsteps of season one winner and fellow Philly resident Jay McCarroll, a Philadelphia University graduate and current professor. Thanks to Streater and McCarroll, will we finally be able to say "auf wiedersehen" to Philly's many a fashion faux pas? As long as salmon shorts are still a thing, probs not.
