If you ever need another reason to avoid the press, our friends at The Blaze have you covered. In an effort to expose a lack of historical Holocaust knowledge, author Rhonda Fink-Whitman interviewed students at several area college campuses, including our venerated Ivy League institution, asking some rather basic questions. The responses might be enough to make your matzah rise.
- A guy didn't know who Anne Frank was because he "never read the book."
- African Americans "may have been the target."
- Who were the allies? "Of Hitler?"
- “It was a, uh, I don’t know how to say it like. It was something that happened in. Oh my God, I know the answer but I don’t know how to explain it.”
- It happened in "uhm 1800, maybe 300 years ago."
- Adolf Hitler was the leader of "Amsterdam?"
- The Final Solution was "...the Nuremberg Trials."
