Uber Lowers Fares, Saves Penn Students Trillions

UTB understands the humiliation of riding in a taxi or “The Septa.” Our prayers for a form of transportation worthy of our fabulosity were answered last year when Uber came on the scene and allowed us to roll up to Rumor looking like Rick Ross. (who has aged quite gracefully, may we add. We digress.)
Since then, times have gotten tough. Capo raised its prices, Wawa rearranged itself to make stealing nearly impossible, and we started feeling guilty about our occasional splurge on an Uber to the Olive Garden in Center City Rittenhouse. Luckily, our prayers have been answered again (#kabbalah), because Uber has lowered the minimum fare from $15 to $12 and decreased all fares by 13%.
Hallelujah! Now that trip to Rumor will only set us back 17 big ones, actually a pretty good deal for the *~*SwAg*~* of a black car. Touché, Uber, touché.
