10 Things "A Day in the Life of Penn" Forgot to Include

Penn has released its Fall 2013 “Day in the Life of Penn,” a collection of 108 photos meant to capture “all aspects of campus life from sunrise to well after sunset on one bright fall day.” Aw.
While we credit the creators for documenting totally everyday things like model shots of Dean Furda, horses and cows at the Vet school, and a really cool foam pit at the gymnastics center, we noticed that they left out a few of the raw details of what it means to be a Penn student. Catch a list of the top 10 nitty gritty omissions after the jump.
10 Things that "A Day in the Life of Penn" Forgot to Include
- Wawa, Saladworks, McDonald’s, and the food court on 34th and Walnut. Some call them gross--we call them misunderstood.
- Kweder. The “Day in the Life” was on a Tuesday. GAWD, try to be more irrelevant, ya nerd!
- A real all-nighter. The “Day in the Life” calls a picture of a boy in a backwards Ralph Lauren hat typing on his MacBook Pro at 2:05 am an all-nighter. Child’s play. If that’s an all-nighter, then what do you call sitting at a desk in the basement of VP with two Red Bulls, a black and white cookie, and four empty packs of gum as the sun rises and tears well up in your heart?
- Not going to class and watching Netflix all day. It happens.
-
Girls walking down Locust wearing
slightlysee-through leggings as pants. This also happens. Caaaan’t. - Student Health. Like the time the nurse practitioner gave you your TB test while holding a burrito in his other hand. This ALSO happened.
- Collegiate ACB. Because while “it’s soooo awful,” you like to check it out when no one’s watchin’ to feel moral superiority.
- Dining hall food. AKA a waffle with ice cream on top and a slice of pizza. Whatever, Penn is hard and you toootally deserve it!
- The Philly randos in the basement of VP. Oh, you thought the silent room was silent? LOL!
- A lady cuddling with a puppy, a baby dressed as a mouse, a student mummifying a dummy, and a boy chopping garlic. Oh wait, those were in there.
