Make A Crayon Sketch For Penn Med And Win $1000

Attention Penn students with excessive free time—we have found you a new side hustle. Penn Medicine's Social Media and Health Innovation Lab is holding its first ever Penn Defibrillator Design Challenge, and there is Cash Money to be won.
In case you weren’t pre-med for a week, defibrillators are devices that anyone can use to help someone facing a cardiac emergency. Since it is important for the public to be able to recognize them, Penn Med is holding a contest for people to submit designs “as simple as a crayon sketch or as intricate as a sculpture“ that encourage the use of AEDs.
Designs will be posted on the contest’s website beginning on February 6th, and they can be submitted until March 6th. Unartsy plebs can vote for their favorite designs and cry about that cash prize. Not a big deal, only 100 Wharton Behavioral Lab sessions or 83 hours as a work-study indentured servant.
