Notorious New York Times Reporter Is Seriously Coming (Back) To Campus

Well, well, well. If it isn't Kate Taylor, infamous "investigative journalist" and slanderer of Penn women everywhere.

That's right, this one's for real. After spending a year on campus paid by the New York Times to creep on our "difmos" at Smoke's and judge/slut-shame our now-iconic "hookup culture," Kate Taylor's headed back to UCity – this time speaking in the public eye.

Penn's Government and Politics Association is hosting Taylor at Houston on Thursday at 6 p.m. and the stated topic is "The Role of Media in Politics," as Taylor has prolifically reported on Washington happenings since her big "sexposé" over a year ago. (Did not win Pulitzer. Did not lose journalistic license.) Still, it's clear her political visit will be overshadowed by her on-campus claim to fame, as the event will include a Q&A – and we wonder if the author of the non-groundbreaking article is ready.

Grab those pitchforks, because we think/hope Quakers will dole out some real talk to the reporter who got thousands of readers and clicks by cherry-picking examples and generalizing Penn ladies. This Q&A may prove even more heated than Newt Gingrich's in 2011! So welcome back, Kate. We're surprised to see you. Just know that we may be over getting an M.R.S. degree, but we're not over that article.
