The ole grind is back whether you like it or not, so you might as well do some stuff! Here is some upcoming stuff:
Tuesday: Introduction to Nichiren Buddhism - 7pm, Houston 314
There will be chanting (!) and cool videos and info about the direct path to unlocking your highest potential. Done and done and done.
Now until forever: OCR Info Sessions - 6:30pm, HELL 001
Informal/soul-crushingly awkward meet & greet afterward. Bring your resume and your dignity.
Wednesday: Dining Philosophers GBM - 6pm, Levine 307
In a cruel twist of events this isn't actually about the philosophy of dining. It's computer science. :(
Wednesday: Jazz & Grooves Presents Alex G, Frankie Cosmos, Bone Bats - 8pm, Pilam
Alex G is a 21-year-old Philly rocker and is becoming kind of a big deal. Plus anything that happens in the shadowy depths of Pilam is bound to be interesting.
Thursday: WUHC Speaker Series with Cognizant's Nagaraja Srivatsan - 7pm, JMHH F55
Presentation about high tech and touch models improving patient engagement in the healthcare industry + Mizu sushi, fancy.
Friday: 2014 Healthcare Supply Chain Conference - 1pm, JMHH G06
I've been here three years here so far and am still wondering what the supply chain club is even. What is that.
Friday to Sunday: PennApps X - All over campus, follow the pizza boxes and sleepy dudes
You definitely don't want to miss out on this. Whether you're into apps or you just like to walk around the Engineering quad to look at sad people and make your liberal artsy self feel better about life, it's a good time.
