Well, well, well--Hallo-Homecoming weekend is upon us already! We don't know what scarier: that it's almost November, that we have a midterm the Monday after Halloween, or that we'll most likely find ourselves dressed up as a "sexy" cat, complete with a generic crop top and high-waisted leggings from American Apparel. In the meantime, follow along as we break down all the spooky 'n kooky festivities going on this week.
Monday-Saturday: Political Action Week, times and locations vary
UTB may or may not be announcing its presidential campaign for 2016.
Tuesday-Friday: Media and Entertainment Week, times and locations vary
Speakers include representatives from Nickelodeon. Does that mean Spongebob will be making an appearance?!
Tuesday: IAA Table Talks: International Law, 6 p.m., Harrison RTL
Catered by Shake Shack. Need we say more?
Wednesday: Carrying the Weight Together, all-day event across campus
This really is such a moving event that we don't have anything snarky to say about it.
Thursday-Saturday: iNtuitons Presents Opposite of Loneliness: A (Dis)Connection Project, times vary, Houston Hall
On the contrary, we've been feeling the opposite of the opposite of loneliness lately. Thankfully, we hear cuffing season is soon upon us ;)
Thursday: Law & Order Showrunner and Producer Rene Balcer, 5 p.m., Kelly Writers House
WE'RE ONLY GOING IF THEY PLAY THIS.
Thursday: Halloween: After Hours At The Museum, 7 p.m., Penn Museum
Get In The Cage with one of our fave professors, Janet Monge.
PSA: HALLOWEEN IS ON FRIDAY, FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO WEREN'T ALREADY AWARE.
Friday: Fossil Free Penn Rally: Spook The Trustees, 10:30 a.m., College Green
Because if trustees didn't take us seriously before, surely they will when we're dressed in varying shades of orange and black.
Friday: Networking Night At Civic House, 5:30 p.m., Civic House (in case that weren't obvious)
What's scarier than Halloween? Spending it trying to make alumni connections.
SECOND PSA: HOMECOMING WEEKEND IS FRIDAY-SUNDAY, WHICH MEANS THERE WILL BE AN ACTUAL FOOTBALL GAME ON SATURDAY.
Said Football Game: Penn v. Brown, 1 p.m., Franklin Field
Have we won a football game before?
