It's finally pre-Thanksgiving week, which means you don't have to do any work for the next thirteen days because you'll be on break in a mere nine anyway. It appears none of this week's events involve turkey, which is a bummer.
All Week
Penn Employee Appreciation Week!
Give thanks to the people who make our campus safer and always look the other way when we're shoving dining hall bagels into tupperware.
Phi Kappa Psi Presents: Hatsgiving
The cause is way better than the pun: Phi Psi's collecting winter hats on Locust for children undergoing chemotherapy.
Today
Globemed Presents: Unraveling Ebola
If that title's not enough to catch your interest, honestly we don't know what is. What better way to spend your Monday evening than untangling an epidemic? Deciphering a disease?
Krispy Kreme MedX Donut Deliveries
Doesn't MedX know national donut day was last week, weirdly coinciding with Veterans' Day?
Tuesday
Listen to students from a Palestinian university discuss what it's like to live and study under Israeli occupation.
Volunteering opportunities bio-med, for all those people who have a thing for masochism and helping others. Plus Insomnia cookies!
A real live debate about Penn's animal testing practices between the Penn Debate team and PETA. It actually doesn't get more interesting than this.
Wednesday
Paying money to get into Castle is nothing new, except this time it goes to charity! And, like, you get to watch Mask and Wig, Bloomers, and Off the Beat.
Thursday-Saturday
The Underground Shakespeare Company Presents: Othello
It's Shakespeare set during the Vietnam War! Double the fun!
An open mic on trans and gender issues, identities, and experiences featuring samosas and GLUTEN FREE cookies.
