The First Listserv Mistake of 2015: A Tale of Woe

There's really no better indicator that Penn is nearly back in session than a Penn Communications department listserv snafu. It's a time-honored switcharoo, really, when a Penn administrator mistakes an individual named "Al" for the entire undergraduate comm listserv. Or perhaps he or she was trying to exclusively reach communications majors named Al? (Goodness knows we've all been there!)

Regardless of the reasons behind this most recent iteration of the classic "Al/undergraduate communications department" confusion, at least the sender was kind enough to try and recall the message in yet another email wrongly sent to every person who's ever taken a comm class at Penn. Although email does not, and has never really worked like that, it was a nice thing that the effort was made! In trying times such as these, we just have to count our blessings and be grateful for the fact that no one at Penn seems to be slowing down on the listserv mistakes – because in all honesty, we live for this shit.
