Locust Flyperlatives, Vol. IV
February 28, 2015 at 2:14 pm
We've reached our fourth volume of Flyperlatives – the big I-V! But really the only V's you should be concerned about this weekend are the ones being talked about at the Vagina Monologues. Although it's sure to be an exciting and socially important show, it's sort of disappointing that the vagina costumes are going to be retired for the remainder of winter.
Most likely to make you an activist: Vagina Monologues
Even if you don't have a vagina, there's a strong likelihood that you've either come out of one and/or will interact with one at some point. Respect the V, see the VagMons.
Most likely to transfer from Penn: Penn Dhamaka
Why pose with this random statue when we have beautiful, immaculate artwork right here on campus? We're also not sure why this flyer doesn't include any information about the event, but judging by the official downtown accompanying it, it must be pretty sceney.
Most likely to challenge your preconceived notions of personhood: Penn Thillana
Although we'd love to see how Penn Thillana explores humanity through dance, we're mostly concerned about the dancing silhouettes that replace the two letter Ls in Penn Thillana. Are we mortals? Or are we merely one-twenty-sixth of the alphabet? Is this flyer blue and black or white and gold?
