BREAKING: Mouse Spotted in West Philadelphia

An unidentified mouse entered a property at 40th and Pine early Sunday afternoon, said a representative for the Division of Public Safety in an email.
This is the first mouse sighting on record in over 40 years in West Philadelphia, according to DPS records and the archives of the Daily Pennsylvanian.
A Penn student was working at home around 2:15 p.m. when the mouse entered the property. The student screamed and the mouse left the scene. The mouse is still at large.
The incident prompted DPS to send out a UPennAlert at 2:36 p.m. An all-clear message was sent out at 3:04 p.m following a thorough search of the premises.
DPS said that the Penn Police Department and AlliedBarton Security have increased their patrols in the area.
