How nice! Since many students often don’t have time to work out at the gym and stay healthy, some fraternities have taken it upon themselves to improve the fitness culture around campus.

Want to come party but don’t know Jeff or Matt? Better stretch at the pre-game and get ready to take a lap. While courses vary by house, the most common route loops around 41st street between Locust and Walnut, with highlights including stopping in to see if any other parties will let you in without all the running.

Some frats have been taking their races to the next level. Alpha Beta Charlie (ABC) bought a set of hurdles on Amazon that they have been placing on Spruce to increase balance and coordination. The solo lap isn’t for everyone, so some have begun to offer relay races in order to complete the circuit as well.

“We just really want to follow in the footsteps of great fitness advocates,” said one brother. “You know, like Michelle Obama or the Nickelodeon Worldwide Day of Play.”
