It’s Okay Bob, My Archeological Dig Last Summer Couldn’t Find Anything Either

Hey champ, how’re you doing? I know, I know, tough day. Well, I guess a tough almost two years. No don’t be upset, it’s all going to be ok. It was a hard game, but you left it all out on the field. It stinks, but sometimes things just don’t work out the way you’d like them to.

I learned that lesson the hard way from my internship last summer. I flew down with a team to the tip of South America to uncover the mysteries of the Argentinosaurs. I was so excited and thought everyone would hail me as a hero for making the discovery that put the whole puzzle together. But while I was down there and digging in the dirt, all that I could find were some capybaras and an overturned 1946 Jeep CJ-2A. 

I was so disappointed, especially since I researched the area thoroughly and interviewed everyone I could. But most importantly, I know that I tried my best. I know you did too, and at the end of the day that’s all that matters. Now, go out there next week and get ‘em tiger.
