Girl Visiting Bookstore to Buy Tote Bag Only (Maybe Notebook)

You know her. You love her. She’s the girl with The Strand tote bag, or maybe a Shakespeare & Co. one to show her worldly travels – but let’s be honest, she ordered it online. No classic North Face backpack for her, she carries her rose gold MacBook Pro with accompanying iPad in her canvas tote bag. Sure, it’s not great for her back, but she makes do. 

Go ahead, try to say hi to her. She probably won’t hear you, she’s too hidden behind her book,  someone has to be! English major with a knack for obvious book recommendations, she suspiciously seems to always be on that same page obsessively annotating. So many different colored highlighters…

She’s so mysterious, sitting outside of ARCH reading an underground, really niche book, My Year of Rest and Relaxation. Or when she sits alone at commons with a commanding presence, completely absorbed in The Perks of Being a Wallflower – a modern classic! 

Naturally, the Van Pelt stacks are her happy place. Always with corded headphones, she is above all. It’s just so hard being so bookish all the time. Oh, girl with tote bag, you are such!
