LOCUST WALK, PHILADELPHIA - The brothers of Psi Upsilon, also known as The Castle, have issued a formal apology after accidentally welcoming in a freshman from the town of Paris, Texas. After translating the statement, which was provided in seemingly every language except English, UTB has determined that the issue seems to have begun at the 'Meet the Brothers,' where John Smith, 18, introduced himself as from Paris.

Naturally, this impressed the Castle brothers. However, Smith is not from Europe's fashion and art capital, a city of 2 million. Rather, he's from Paris, Texas with a population of 12 cows and as many square miles. After progressing through the rush process, Smith decided to embrace his identity and had successfully blended in... until he showed up to their bid night in cowboy boots and greeted them "y'all."

Smith was told "au revoir" and is officially back on the market. The Castle has pledged to more closely vet its rushes to prevent this sort of error in the future. Certain disqualifying features include reciting the whole American national anthem, understanding how the NFL works, or not owning a trench coat.
