Hub Bub Grub

Today while you're going to grab that post-Phillies game hangover egg and cheese sandwich from Bui's, you might notice a new food truck parked on the corner of 38th and Spruce. Hub Bub, a gourmet coffee shop on wheels, debuts on campus today from Penn grad Drew Crockett. Although we've seen a lot of new food joints pop up around campus recently, Hub Bub adds to the scene with some international flavor. Well maybe that was a lie, but the truck features espresso machines handmade in Florence, Italy and the coffee is from Oregon, which at least feels foreign to Philadelphians.
In addition to coffee, the truck will feature tea, fresh lemonade and an assortment of baked goods that range in price from $1.50 to $4.50. Although a bit expensive, Crockett plans to keep his truck open until 5 p.m. daily and until 1 a.m. during exams, making it your new potential coffee-spot during those late night walks back from Van Pelt. But the question remains: how will it compare to WaWa? Let us know.
