#AWKWARD Email Sent To Rodin Residents
January 19, 2012 at 3:39 pm
High rises are big places, which is why we were shocked when one tipster forwarded us this email, written by someone with an impressive ability to beat around the bush (no pun intended, but ew), that asks everyone in the building to keep their noise level down while they're, ya know, with company. Sorry to Harrison and Harnwell for all of the attention we've been giving to Rodin as of late, but at least your residents fornicate quietly. #AWKWARD.
FW: Late-Night #AWKWARD Noises Throughout Rodin?!Dear Rodin residents,
Since returning from Winter break, the House Office has received a multitude of complaints about AWKWARD late-night noises. As many of you know, Rodin's quiet hours begin on weekdays at 11:00 p.m. and on weekends at 12:00 a.m.
Please remember that the walls and ceilings in Rodin are paper thin. Much of what you do -- with your friends and SIGNIFICANT OTHERS -- is heard by your roommates, and, maybe more importantly, by those who live around you (adjacent to, across the hall, above and below).
The volume of the various noises has become enough of a House-wide issue that we felt we must address this through a House-wide email. The Rodin experience -- a tight-knit community and family-like culture -- exist, because of our respect for one another. Please be mindful of the myriad NOISES you're making within your apartments and respective rooms. The entire Rodin staff is fully aware of this noise issue, and plans to address future complaints -- though it maybe inopportune -- in a timely manner. Remember to keep your surrounding community members in mind as we proceed throughout the spring.
Thanks in advance for decreasing distracting, awkward late-night noises.
Many Thanks, XXXXX
